To establish a new women-centric coworking environment, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming, productive and healthy atmosphere, that supports the work/life styles of VIDA’s inclusive and diverse community of members.
On a tight timeline and start-up budget, we were asked to apply our expertise in workplace strategy, space utilization and human experience to develop the design and space plan, plus oversee all aspects of the tenant improvement and build-out process. With our skills in value-engineering to fit, specify, and procure furnishings and finishing accessories and decor, we were tasked to shape the foundation of the first of several new coworking and community spaces in order to bring the owner’s vision to life.
Creative solutions were implemented to create a thoughtfully designed, women-oriented workplace that fit within a tight budget and fast turn-around. Special attention was given to the space’s flexibility and functionality to support the wide range of members, working styles and activities throughout the floorplan.
